It felt nice to wake up and see, whilst I was sleeping, Victorians had taken to the streets. I would hate the day to come that Australians felt too apathetic to do so. It’s been awhile since I ‘ve attended a protest, but as a nurse and as welfare worker I’ve been to a few.
This site was a wedding gift, a means for us to keep in touch with our loved ones in Australia while we are living in France. It’s a way for us to recall all the details, no matter how small, that make living in a different country ultimately a fabulous experience.
